Problem

Scotmas identified a need to effectively control dangerous infectious and contamination without compromising the wider environment.

Solution

Supported through the Scottish Funding Council鈥檚 Advanced Innovation Voucher scheme, 亚博体育官网鈥檚 collaboration with Scotmas, resulted in the development of a new and innovative method of water disinfection without harmful by-products, suitable for use in drinking water, hospitals, and food production applications worldwide. Through this partnership with 亚博体育官网, Scotmas Group Ltd won the Innovation of the Year at the Scottish Knowledge Exchange Awards 2021 and the new product has enabled further company growth with the commissioning of new commercial plants.
